After spending her childhood at Le Touquet, Bac économie en poche, Juliette Espinasse Dubois created in 1989 the brand July of St Barth on the island of Saint-Barthélémy where she lives.
Initially, a creation of hats and bags for the woman who has been sewing on her hats the shells of Shell Beach, her favourite beach in Saint-Barthélemy where she lived for several years…
Passionate about perfumes, since she was a little girl, she collects fragrances (more than 20,000 bottles today) and is very quickly passionate about fashion… From journey to journey, Juliette finds inspiration through encounters and exchanges that nourish her.
A true creator of happiness and good humour, she dreamed of sharing her design and her creations. So it became obvious, since it launched in 2014, a line of perfumes. From a collaboration with the perfumer Jean François Latti (the energizing water of Clarins, Givenchy III and Jazz of Yves Saint Laurent) was born Shell Beach its first exclusive fragrance, a journey through the tropics reminiscent of a fresh, leaky and sensual scent!
There follows a French Rose Garden, Musk Gourmand, Patchouli Forever and a mixed fragrance, Oud Mystérieux that it also declines in beauty products, soaps, milk for the body, balm for the lips but also in candles and perfumes of interiors.
A recognized brand, July of St Barth is now distributed worldwide. From the prestigious places of the Côte d’Azur, to Saint-Barthélemy, his island of heart. The woman July of st Barth is the idea of a free woman with a huge hat on a beach or in a garden with her children picking her flowers or picking her small shells…
As an exotic invitation, this brand transports you to the Caribbean combining art of living and luxury with the French.
In 2017, Juliette launches her new July St Barthelemy collection «Les Exclusifs», where she evokes her values, feelings and her life story with these new perfumes.
My favorite? Musk Gourmand. A romantic fragrance. A modern touch of musk, for a romantic fragrance with a more refined, subtle and velvety tone.
